Maureen, I am researching Linz (Lins, Lenz, Lincy, Lince) and Kromer (Kramer) from Sandusky. Ludwig was born in Altsweier, Baden and was married to Rosena Schmal(t)z about 1850. Conrad was born in 1851and married Josephine Kromer (Kramer) in 1873. They were my mother's grandparents. Does that fit in with your Lenz? I'm trying to find Josephine's parents' names.
