Bellevue proper straddles the county line between Sandusky and Huron Counties. It also abuts the coulnties of Erie and Seneca. With modern sprawl, some of these counties may be annexed into the city. A person could be a rural resident of any of the four counties living close enough to Bellevue to be serviced by the Bellevue post office. So even though he or she may have a Bellevue address, her or his vitals would be in the court house of the county in which the residence is found.
