My line consists of a Dorothea Bier that was born in 1815 and married Johann Kohlmann. When Dora died,no mention of her parents and cannot locate any further info. Your John is the son of (William) Phillip.I have the church records of this family and just recently traced the family through the census records of Erie County and noted that they lived next door to my Dora and John.I was assuming that (William)Phillip was a brother perhaps to Dora.Another reason, Dora's children's names were similiar to those of (William)'s children. Would like to compare notes and see if there is a connection to the two families.
