I belong to several lists and this "ad is on them, one she "charges" your $5.00 for the information and on another list she dosen't. If it is a Freedom of Information Act why pay for it? It's her way to make a big buck, she won't get it from me. I'm sorry, but this sure sounds like an advertisement. If a person is willing to do the work, much of this info is available on microfilm which can be ordered through the LDS Family History Center. You don't need to know "legal lingo" or use the Freedom of Information Act. There are local and county records which have been gathered through the years by the LDS. I've got wills, estate records, marriage, death and adoption records, on ancestors, plus much more. Just find a Family History Center near you, and you will be surprised at the wealth of information they have. Penny
