I just found out that is where my > grandfather was born Hello John: Most of the 1890 census was destroyed in a fire. There was no Benjamin Hall family in Erie County on the 1900 Census. The closest I could find was a family in Fremont, Sandusky County: Benjamin Hall, 74, born NJ; wife Ruth C., 70, born PA; daughter Carrie C., 39, born OH; Benjamin, 21, born OH. If this is your family let me know and I'll give you the rest of the census data. Was your Benjamin a child or head of the family in 1900? If he was a child, I'll need his father's name to find the family. Hall is a rather common name, so any other names/dates to identify the correct family would be helpful. Paul C. Miller
