In the 1838-1919 Vol 11 Page 387, located a marriage license for Herman J Schulz and Anna K Scherer Oct 19, 1909. At the library, in the Sandusky City Directories I located: 1925-26 Frank C & Barbara Scherer and John A & Christine Scherer. In 1930 under Scherer I found the following: Edward J & Clara; Henry; Henry J & Effie; Jacob M & Minnie; John; John B & Laura; Joseph A; Paul & Sylvia; Ruth; and William & Clara. The Hayes Presidential Library they have an obituary listing for Henry Scherer, d. 22 May 1966 age 83, wife Effie McNutt, Fremont News Messenger, 24 May 1966 pg 2 col 3. There is also an obits for John B Scherer d. 28 April 1983 age 96, Sandusky Register 30 April 1983 pg A-6 col 4. Do you think any of the about fit into your family?
