Thanks Carol, that was very informative, and I have sent for the records of Holy Angels Church on microfilm. My relative, Mary Fennessey, was born in Venice, OH in 1850/1851 and Venice is west of Sandusky, so maybe I will get lucky. Bill O'Loughlin
