    1. Re: [OHErie] Huron & Mayflower lines
    2. I can't help with much in Huron -- only a couple of collateral folks there. I will look in my database just to be certain -- old age, I can't remember all of the names right off. I have lots of Dempsey's in Ohio back in the early 1800s in several counties and some Pettigrew's and Cutler's around the same time frame. I do have eight ancestors who arrived on the Mayflower, so we could look for a connection there. I'm not related as far as I know to the Brewster's. I may have a book with some information on them, don't know offhand, but I have about 50 books on Mayflower connections, so there has to be something. Tons of stuff online of course. If you want to send me your line off the list I will be happy to see what I can find. The first 5 generations are pretty much done for us. Most of the family (not the Mayflower bunch) came from Sicily to Sandusky, Ohio and then to Cleveland. I have lots of information on the family once they were in Cleveland, but I am missing a few documents still. Had one family in So. Amherst, Lorain County, and then they moved to Cleveland. I am still missing one birth record there, that has proven elusive. One Aunt is still living, but for the others I have birth, marriage, death certs, obits, naturalization papers for all that were born in Sicily and photo's of all their graves and of homes they lived in, plus an assortment of other documents like hobbies, work, and just about anything else I could locate. Just the Sandusky bunch needs documentation. Sent money to St. Joseph's Cemetery in Sandusky in December 2002. They promptly cashed the check but no response to date. I am still hoping the something will arrive. Sent a request to Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland the same day and within a week I got back five documents and my check. Found a great-great grandmother that I never knew came to America. Genealogy is not a project for anyone who needs to see a finish to their work. Happy researching, Sharon in So. CA
