She immigrated in 1900 from England and was naturalized. She was born about 1885. I would try to locate her voter registration card, which will give you the naturalization date and certificate number and then you can order the naturalization papers and hope for the first papers to be there. Usually takes 10-14 days once you send the $10.00 in. Then you will have her birth information, parents names, her physical description and possibly a photo. There are several Miriam Smith's in the Ohio death index, but would need a little more info to nail the right one. Frank was a farmer and born about 1875 in Ohio. All children born in Ohio.
