I would like to jump in here as well. I have benefitted from Laura's assistance a great deal. She is VERY competent and I have the utmost confidence in her. I would hate to see her quit because of someone who is clueless. To this person who hadn't heard from her since February--what's the rush?? Research takes time--lots of time. If it takes 6 months to hear back, so what? Believe me, our ancestors aren't going anywhere and if it's taking awhile, then maybe she's hit a roadblock she is trying to get around for you. She does research for many people and believe me, you are not her priority. She does have a life and family. Laura never asked me for a dime. She did it all of her own accord. If you did send her money (which I believe you said was not asked for but, as you put it, "hinted at") then consider it well spent. Especially now that she's had to put up with a character assasination.
