My Ggrandfather Myers married a Lawrence whose father owned an ashery c. 1850 to 1876 in the same close proximity! Just north of the old bridge that washed out in 1969. Do you know how far back your ancestors owned land in the basin area? There still might be a connection between our Myers families.
