Scherer, born 4/6/1883 - died 5/15/1966 at age 83 which coincides with your dates very closly. His wife was Kate Gutermann. They had six children: May, Caroline, George, Frank, Edward, and John. They lived in the area near Sandusky, Ohio. Henry had three brothers: Richard, Max, and Robert, my grandfather. Also Henry had three sisters: Lena, Landa and Hedwig. I believe they all were born in Paterson, New Jersey. Your dates and names have great similarity to mine.
