A Wobser family is tied in to my Wott family. I don't have much on Wobser but have been told that they came from the same area as my Wott line. I have three locations in Prussia: Gross Deupsow/Deubsow, Dabern, and Bratkruge. When the Wott's first came to the US they settled in Venice, north of Sandusky, and part of them later went to Sandusky Co., OH. I have found that many of the records have been transcribed by the LDS and can be found on their website at familysearch.org. Hope this helps and good luck!
