Emma HORNER m. George W. HARRIS 1883, Seneca Co. OH. They are in Huron Twp, Erie Co in 1900. George apparently died between 1900 and 1910 because Emma is in Swanton, Fulton Co with new name of GEER. I would like to connect with anyone researching any of these families.

Marilyn: I located the following information from the Erie County Probate Court records: DEATH RECORD Vol 3, page 107, No. 5 George W Harris d 31 July 1902 at the age of 66 yrs, 6 mon, 10 days Place of death: Huron Township Place of birth: Pittsburgh, PA BIRTH RECORDS The following six (6) children were born to George W Harris and Emma J Horner Harris: Vol 3, page 166, No. 154 Gordie Ruth Harris b 10 Jan 1890 Parents: G W and Emma J Harris Residence: Huron, Erie County, OH Vol 2, page 92, No. 11 Hope Olivia Harris b 21 Jan 1884 Vol 2, page 156, No. 14 Lucius Horner Harris (male) b 14 Apr 1886 Vol 3, page 178, No 435 Lucy F Harris b 15 May 1893 Vol 3, page 180, No 4 Lynn Asa Harris b 29 Jan 1888 Vol 3, page 186, No. 191 Ted Harris b 21 Oct 1896 There is a Journal Entry for Ted Harris which reads as follows: Journal entry from Fulton County Probate Court, filed 7 Nov 1960 Correction of Birth Records from Ted Harris to Ralph Ted Harris Ralph Ted Harris for an order of the court correcting his birth records, as it is registered in the office of Probate Court, Erie County, Ohio, on consideration of evidence submitted, finds that the facts stated in the application are supported by the testimony of Lucy Fano Harris Keller and Doris Emma Jones who appeared in open court, whcih testimony and evidence is deemed sufficient by this court, notice of the hearing on said application has been dispensed with and the following are true facts with relation to the birth of said applicant, as of the date of delivery. This entry goes on to say that George W Harris was 60 yrs of age at the time of Ted's birth. George was born in Pittsburg, Pa and was a farmer. His mother, Emma Horner was 35 yrs of age at his birth, was born in Milan, Erie County, OH and was a housewife. There were 5 other children born to this mother.
