We are from the Sandusky, Erie, Ohio area. Well, My great grandfather, is Charles Wobser, his family all were raised in Castalia, Ohio Margaretta Township. I am trying to do a study on these Wobsers. I cannot find the year or ship Charles came over on. His birthdate is March 12, 1847. Only says Hinter Pommern, that was in Prussia. I know all of his children two sons ,Willliam and Charles moved to Colton, California. William had a son named Charles also so there are 3 Charles Wobsers. Let me know if any of this connects. The Wobsers are bried in Venice Ohio cemetery. There is also a Wilhelmena and husband Herman buried there. My grandfather Paul and Herman. Charles other two sons. Many more.
