The name was familiar to me b/c some of my ancesters lived down the street. I also think I remember my mother's cousins talking about Gagens. There are 12! kids listed to Patrick and Mary both born in Ireland. There is a Jessie M. & Philip J. and Philip Jr. on the 1920 census on Lawrence Street. Philip's parents were born in Ireland and he in OH. Hope this helps. Jeanne
