Mary Calista (Merrihew) Fairchild b: 1857 in Olive, Ulster Co, NY d: post-1880/pre-1890 possibly in Sandusky Co, OH The last site of her is the 1880 Census in Sandusky, Sandusky Co, OH. She was the wife of Elbert A. Fairchild and the mother of Valora Ethel Fairchild born 1879. Elbert remarried approximately 1904 to a Melinda LNU ... they are listed in the 1900 census in Bethany, Gratiot Co, MI stating that they were married 16 years ... perhaps they were married in Sandusky County also ... as all of their six (6) childred were listed as being born in Ohio ...
