I just purchased a post card. the post card is written by Alfred Brant to his father. On this post card are several people and 3 children on a ship named the Bayern. It is written in German. According to the ships Manifest Alfred Brant was 33 when he came to the US with his wife Magnelena and his daughter Grete who was 4. It states that his cousin paid his passage and he had $75.00 on him when he arrived. He would be staying with his cousin Carl Feick at 321 Decatur Street Sandusky, Ohio, the date on the postcard is June, 1923. the postcard is written to his father Johannes Brant in Lubeck Germany. Does this sound familiar to anyone? thanks Norma
