I am looking for any information on a William BLOOMER who was living in Huron Township, Erie County, Ohio in the 1840 Federal Census. He was born in about 1806 in New York. He may have been a ship carpenter. Listed in the household were the following people: 1 male 5/10 years 2 male 10/15 years 1 male 30/40 years 2 female 0/5 years 1 female 30/40 years I believe he may have married a Eliza NELSON some time between 1835 and the 1840 census. She would have been a widow with 4 or 5 Nelson children. Any information on a NELSON or BLOOMER family in Erie County would be much appreciated.
