Janice Huntley Stahl Sandusky - Janice Huntley Stahl, 73, formerly of Sandusky, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, in Parkvue Health Care Center following a lengthy illness. She was a 1948 graduate of Sandusky High School and 1952 graduate of Ohio University, Athens. She retired from Sandusky City Schools in 1996 after a 36-year teaching career. She was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ, the Sandusky Women's Club and a 50-year member of Sandusky Yacht Club. She was a former member of the Plum Brook County Club, Kelleys Island Veterans of Foreigh Wars Post 2298 and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at Ohio University. She enjoyed boating, skiing, and spending time on Kelleys Island. Survivors include her son, Craig Stahl of Sandusky; daughter Ann Lorenz of Sandusky; two grandchildren; brothers Don and Jim Huntley, both of Sandusky; and sister Ida Mae Bickley of Sandusky. She was preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Edith (nee Bechtel) Huntley. There will be a reception for friends and family on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Sandusky Yacht Club, where a memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. by the Rev.
