I just discovered that my grandfather is the son of Appilonia Berner (?). I believe this to be Lina or Lena Berner (?). Could someone look and see if there is a birth record for Fred (Frederick) born October 23, 1882 in Erie County, I don't believe his last name was Berner at that time. I know Lena married a Stephen Newbauer in 1889 but I don't know if she was married before this. The last name could be something that sounds like this is spelled Ekstram. I found that in a newspaper article about Fred Ekstram and guardianship to Christian Berner. Thanks so much.

Bellevue proper straddles the county line between Sandusky and Huron Counties. It also abuts the coulnties of Erie and Seneca. With modern sprawl, some of these counties may be annexed into the city. A person could be a rural resident of any of the four counties living close enough to Bellevue to be serviced by the Bellevue post office. So even though he or she may have a Bellevue address, her or his vitals would be in the court house of the county in which the residence is found. Hi, Are you saying that there are different Bellevue's in Ohio? On this mans obit it stated he died north of Bellevue. Then on the Ohio Death records it has him listed for death certificate in Erie County........So, where would I try to get a copy of his death certificate?
