My gggrandfather Patrick Manning(originally Mangan) came over to Boston. I believe he was from County Waterford and was born in 1879 (d 1944)His parents were Thomas Mangan and Honora Begley. Patrick married Anna Kenneally (1885-1943) and they had 7 children. Thomas-1905-1995(my grandfather) Virginia R. 1940-1985 (my mom) Thomas J Jr 1937- Dorothy 1943- John (deceased) John Patricia James (deceased) Robert Catherine(deceased Edward (deceased Edward Michael Eileen Lillian(Gillis) (1914-1971) Ronald Mildred(deceased) Anna (meek,murray) deceased. I believe the siblings stayed in the boston area suburbs while my gf moved to Beverly. I think he may have owned a Star Market in Medford or Somerville in the 1950's or so. I really do appreciate this so much! V E R Y I N T E R E S T I N G ! I am taking this, that in 1913 the remains of Mrs. Michael Leyden, from Cleveland, were then brought to Kelley's Island in 1913 for burial. Is this how you understand it? Please correct me if I am wrong. My g-grandmother, wife of Mrs. Michael (A.) Leyden, died in 1954 and I saw her grave at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio around 1981. I wish I knew this "Mrs" first name (and maiden name) and the info on the Michael Leyden she was married to. My g-grandfather, Michael Augustus Leyden (called "Mitch") was born in 1868 and married about 1892 (that would make him about 24 years old then) and died 1934. ...just doing some numbers to see if maybe there were other marriages or something. I am not sure who this other Mrs. Michael Leyden is unless this Michael was possibly a brother to the John Leyden (the progenitor in my family tree) who was born 1830. This would make the Michael Leyden mentioned in his 70's or 80's when he died, which is very likely. Very interesting. My great-aunt Alice (born about 1900) used to visit Kelley's Island, I thought to visit her mothers grave... but then I saw it in Cleveland as stated above. This is why I wondered if I was taking this correctly. Alice was the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Keating) Leyden. The Keatings and Lynch's- wow! I believe I have a picture of Moses Lynch with a few of the Leydens near the Quarries on Kelley's Island. I will have to dig out my papers and see. Unfortunately I am unemployed and finding employment is- believe it or not- more of a priority then genealogy, tee hee. This is quite interesting. Thank you so much for stirring up more curiosity! He was born in Findlay and lived in the Milan area for many years. He was a graduate of Findlay High School and received his bachelor's degree from Findlay College and his master's degree from the University of Toledo. He was the senior teacher of the secretarial specialist program at EHOVE Career Center in Milan for 17 1/2 years, and the administrator for the Buseinss Professionals of America. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Huron and served as church treasurer from 1986 to 1987. He was also a member and secretary of the Milan Chamber of Commerce for many years. He is survived by his fiancee, Joanne Stewart and her son, Scott, both of Norwalk; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross H and Ruth L (Kellams) Corbin. Not clear about county of residence. Geographic location of Bellevue makes Erie Co a possibility. Not clear if the Morton family was a cousin of Gershom or Zebulon. The wife of Gershom Hall was possibly Keziah Atwood Gibbs and earlier possibly a lady named Sarah Zebulon’s father Loammi Hall, son of Gershom Hall died in Perry Center NY 1823. It is possible the cousin may have been from his mother's side. She is reported to have been Sarah (Sally) Deuel (or other close spelling) who married Loammi Hall in Onondaga Co NY abt 1815. The second marriage of Sarah was to George Barber, Perry Center NY abt 1827. Second cousins of Zebulon are possible as Gershom the son of Jabez & Hannah Lyon Hall of Lanesborough, Berkshire Co MA. had in addition to Loammi the following children: Rhoda b abt 1741 who married Abial Platt, Hannah who married Caleb Burton 1st, then Osborn, John b Jan 1753 who married Phebee Benedict, Elizabeth b 16 Feb 1754 who married William Lewis, Lydia b abt 1755 who married Stephen Northrup, Calvin b 27 Dec 1759 who married Marcy (Marcy) Barnes, Ezra b 5 Jan 1762 who married Thiphena Sprague, Abrigal b abt May 1764 who married William Pitts Baker.
