All, I have the shots of Andersonville National Cemetery that were requested by Listers. I also copied all information that was at the research center within the POW Museum of those men whose descendants requested photos. I also shot the Ohio, Indiana and Iowa Monuments (states your ancestors served), The Grant/Lee Monument, The GA bronze of 3 prisoners at the entrance to the cemetery, and the graves of "The Raiders". Of the prison acreage, I have the main gate, some pictures of the shebangs, the infamous creek, a cannon, etc. Please contact me with a list of what you'd like. I did have a problem finding graves for two of the requests. I've already talked with Wally (Darke Co. Lister) about his Pitzenbarger ancestor. I don't have my notes with me, but one other request was not able to be verified. I searched every file and book and found no evidence he was ever there. I also have photos of 'UNKNOWN US SOLDIER' monuments; perhaps if your ancestor was not listed, he may rest beneath one of these markers. It is always a sombering experience to spend a day walking the National Cemetery and the 26 acres that was the Sumpter Prisoner of War Stockade (AKA Andersonville Prison). Although I swore I'd never do this again in the summer, thank you all for the opportunity to pay back the listers for their past and future assistance. Sandra Hollister Boston, GA
