I just received in the mail the Marchal-Meyers Family Cookbook at the Pot Pie Recipes and the Cream pie recipe, etc. and was thumbing through some of the recipes and the pictures - #54 Katie Marchal .....with her trademark "dust cap" and apron from "the store." Well I got all excited because at the ListFest there was pot pie and cream pie --- all of which I had not seen since my grandmother was alive as she always made both of these "treats" for her granddaughters at the holidays...which lead me to purchasing this cookbook but NOW with the picture of Katie Marchal ---- I'm looking at that "dust cap" and "apron" and my grandmother always wore these around the house. Does anyone have "patterns" of these dust caps and apron OR can offer any history about them? I'm taken back again by seeing something I have not seen in ages!!! June E.
