I just saw the following posted on the Blair List by Annie Whiteman. It refers to Daniel Deeter's son Daniel Deeter living in "Dark" County, Ohio. Estate of Daniel Deeter, Dec'd. BLAIR COUNTY, SS At an Orphans' Court held at Hollidaysburg, in and for the said county, on the 10th day of December last, the Court granted a rule on the heirs and legal representatives of Daniel Deeter, late of North Woodberry township, deceased, to with: on Abraham, living near Hagerstown, in the State of Indiana; Catherine intermarried with John Utley, living at the same place; Daniel living in Dark county, Ohio; Elizabeth, intermarried with Abraham Rock, living in Blair county; Susannah, who was formerly intermarried with Lazarus Wareham, living in Blair county; Barbara, living in Blair county; David, living in Blair county; Jacob, living in Blair county; John, living in Bedford county; Hannah, formerly intermarried with Joseph Snowberger, living in Blair county; and Mary, living in Blair county-to come into court at its next term to be held at Hollidaysburg, in and for said county of Blair, on the 19th day of March next, then and there to accept or refuse the following described real estate of said Daniel Deeter, deceased, at the valuation to wit: a tract of land in North Woodberry township, Blair county, containing 155 acres 73 perches and allowance, about 70 acres cleared, on which are erected a frame house and stable and a barn, adjoining lands of Dr. Peter Shoenberger, Patrick Gartland and Jacob Young.
