Children were. 1..Isaac b abt 1838 in Randolph Co Ind 2..Louisa Elizabeth b Oct 1839 in Clinton Co Oh at home of granparents, the Wm and Millie Mildred Murrell ( b Va), Smithson. 3.. Wm Harrison Rooks b abt 1841 in Marion TWP, Grundy Co Mo. d in Darke Co Oh. was in Civil Wa 1861/2 Ohio . mar Sarah Hensley in Darke Co Oh 1869. Some ch moved to Fraklin Co Oh around Columbus Oh in 1900's. 4..Smith ( Smithson) Rooks b abt 1842/3 Marion TWP Grundy Co Mo. 5..Allen b abt 1843/4 in Marion Twp Grundy Co Mo. 6..Millie Maxine Rooks b Marion TWP Grundy Co Mo.The above have been proven as per records and census. births etc. Some incoreect imfo out there on Millie as she was 9 yrs when mother died and didn't remember much of her early childhood and got things wrong. Mahala died 1855 to 1860?? just when. Louisa found mar Feb 1860 in Clinton Co Oh to Joseph ( Joel ) Boring b 1840/1.Oh. both d in Mercer Co Oh 1918 & 1919. Millie Maxine Rooks mar in Susanville Ca on 30 Oct 1962 at 16 yrs of age to Emanuel Brannan b 1828 in Dearborn Co Ind koved to Jackson Co ind 1829/30. both d Colfax, Whitman Co Wa. her father William had taken her and left in 1862 for west and never told any other family member and never conntacted anyone again after leaving. This I was told on ph in 1996 Sep. by a Rooks family member. No one ever found out why or where he had gone and thought they may have been killed by Indians etc someplace. Was happy to find out abt them. I would like any imfo on any of these people. Death date of Mahala, Where and abt the 3 boys of Wm's. left Grundy Co Mo fefore and after 1860.
