    3. Hi, It appears the "local library" is mine. Here is an obit. for his brother. According to our obit. abstract book (which currently end in 1930) by Audrey Gilbert: Aug. 21, 1930 - in Lewisburg Leader & Eldorado News Jacob Sayring, 75, died near West Manchester Thursday, born Monroe Co., Ohio and lived in West Manchester since 1874. Leaves wife Sophia; brothers Levi of West Manchester and Adam of Germantown; 4 half sisters; 5 half brothers. Funeral Aug. 16 at Twin Creek Chapel. We have clipped and copied the obits. from the Lewisburg Leader as well but only to 1932. Here is Sophia's. Mrs. Sophia Sayring, 76 d. at home short distance southwest of West Manchester Sat. Had a stroke several weeks ago. Was discovered on the floor afterward by her brother John Arnold who lived with her. Native of Montgomery County. Lived on the farm where she d. for past 38 yr. Services at West Manchester Congregational-Christian Church with burial in Twin Creek Chapel cemetery. Survivors are brothers: John Arnold and Wm. Arnold of Ft. Recovery, sister Mrs. Joseph Harshbarger of West Manchester; 2 half sisters & nearly 50 nephews & nieces. Husband, Jacob, d. a little over 2 years ago. We have the original newspapers in book form. Have 1934 on the top of the pile and the 1940 book (on the bottom of a 6 ft. pile). Did not see Levi's obit in 1934. Also have the Arcanum Times for 1934, nothing there either. According to our Preble County death index: Jacob Sayring b. May 6, 1855 & d. Aug. 14, 1930 Levi Sayring b. Mar. 31, 1863 & d. Sept. 12, 1934 Sophia Sayring b. May 10, 1856 & d.
