To all of you interested in Fort Jefferson and also the Pioneer Cemetery. There will be a plaque for Fort Jefferson. These plaques are very expensive, more than $2000. Larry Henderson, 2665 Byrket Rd., Greenville, Ohio 45331 is spearheading this project. He has gotten a grant but still needs contributions. The plaque has been ordered. When this project is complete he hopes to get a plaque for the Pioneer Cemetery in Fort Jefferson. He is getting plaques for all the soldiers in 3 townships, with the trustees agreeing to put in the bases. Larry is working hard on these projects. Any help would be appreciated. The Ohio Bicentennial plaque for Greenville will dedicated Mar. 8 and the plaque being placed at Shawnee Prairie will be dedicated Apr. 5.
