John's father was William Johnson (Sr.) of Berkeley County. There is a nice article on the history of that Johnson family that mentions John and Phebe. Phebe's father was John Prill, and I believe I am close to finding the immigrant ancestor. I would like to know more about the Johnson descendants. (I am a Prill descendant.)
