Effie Beauchamp married Shannon Kimmel 5 July 1886 so the marriage to Calvin Snyder was a second marriage for her. My database on OLIVER (information from Bradford resident Leo Rasor) shows Laura Elsie Oliver b 1888 d 1967 married to Calvin Lorenzo Snyder b 1890 d 1977. No date of marriage <frown>. Leo descends from Laura's sister Vertie (that is, Leo is Laura's nephew). Laura Elsie and Laura E----- are not the same person as Laura Elsie was d/o Hyrcanous Oliver & Rebecca Mendenhall (making Laura Elsie a cousin to me in the Mendenhall line). Laura E is shown as d/o Milo Oliver. Milo's marriage to Lina was shown as Milo F Oliver to Landora Thorn 6 Jan 1881 with William Oliver & Jno. W Thorn approving. This shows that the two Olivers cousins were close in age but different people. Someone would have to go to the Probate Court in Greenville to find marriages later than 1911.
