Susannah Waters was born in Greenville, Ohio, May 7, 1831 and departed this life at Denver Colo., May 25, 1909 (it might be 26, but think it is 25). She was only sick a short time, the cause of her death being dropsy of the heart. At the age of twenty years she sought and found the Lord and remained a christian until her death. She was a member of the Christian church. The funeral was conducted at the Free Methoidst church at Densmore Kansas, by Rev. Cyrus Archer, March 31, 1909. She leaves four sons and one daughter and was brought to the home of her son Eugene Mann, of Densmore Kansas, by the daughter. A large crowd attended the funeral and accompanied the remains to the cemetery at Densmore where they were laid to rest to await the resurrection."
