I am Researching the Rentschler and Drieschman surnames. John Martin Rentschler died in 1876 and the family moved on to San Francisco. The Rentschler's moved to Greenville from Wurtemberg, Germany in 1854. John Dreischman was a shoemaker in Greenville and prior to moving to California around 1885 opened a shop in Hartford City, Blackford County, Indiana. John immigrated to the U. S. in 1850.
