    3. Hello All, I tried the $3.50 death certificate search on eBay and have heard that it has now been mailed and is on it's way. Last night, Brian (the seller) notified me of another auction that he is currently offering (see below). I already own the 1890 Veterans Census so I wasn't interested but thought that perhaps someone else might be. --Jane Hi Jane. I mailed your certificate today. I noticed that your first request was someone from Darke county. I assume that you must have some interest in Darke county then. I wanted to let you know that I have a Darke county item on ebay right now. It is the special census that was taken in 1890 for Darke county, Ohio-- almost 170 pages! If you want to check it out, here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4162513053&category=2 0927&sspagename=STRK%3AMEASE%3AIT&rd=1 Thanks! Brian

    3. Well I would like to bid on this but will instead depend on whoever buys it to check for the one name I know of that I have that would be in the book to send me what it has in it on William Harrison ROOKS b abt 1840/1 in Grundy Co Mo. mar Sarah Hensey in 1869 in Darke Co Oh. died there and bur in Cem there. He is a Grt Grt Uncle. Some have him b elsewhere but his parentas were William Rooks and Mahala Smithson b in Clinton Co Oh. 1817 and abt 1814. Also with diff parents as his mother had d in 1855. in Mo. He entered Civil War service in 1860/1/or2 in Clinton Co Oh. Served twice. may have used name Harrison as was on 1850 Grundy Co MO census in Marion TWP then. with family.
