The same is true if you are hunting someone in census records. I have a family who lived on the Darke Co. side of Union City for years, but later found them on Randolph Co. IN census even though they still were in the same town. Karen -----Original Message----- Message Board Post: Are you certain that Tunis Ullom was buried in the Union City Cemetery in Darke County, Ohio? There was a Union City Cemetery on the Ohio side of Union City, which is no longer active. However, there is also a Union City Cemetery on the Indiana side of town, in Randolph County, which IS still active. Although most of my Union City ancestors lived on the Ohio side of town and considered themselves Buckeyes, they all became Hoosiers by default, as they were buried in Indiana. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
