Marriage before around 1895 ONLY have have the bride/groom names, the date and minister. It is not until after 1895 (give or take a year or two) when full information is given. However, there are a few years between 1900 - present where marriage cert. is like this too, but generally they have the full information. > ATTACHMENT part 3 message/rfc822 Date: Mon, 19 Jul 2004 12:39:03 -0700 (PDT) From: Catherine Galvin To: OHCUYAHO-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: marriage application Hello Again, Wow, thank you all for your interest. I think I might still be confused. I have gotten what I think is the marriage RECORD twice: It shows a "stub" part to the left with the names of the bride and groom, the right has their names, the date and the ministers name. I am interested in the application, in the hopes that it might have the brides parents listed. I wrote to the archives and asked for the application, and I got the marriage record again. What am I doing wrong?Thank all of you so much! What a great response.
