Ruth, Did you check with the Probate Court? I actually found a will filed with them from my husbands great grandfather, which was still open and he died in 1954. I found this through a search of their website, which is http://probate.cuyahogacounty.us/ Good Luck. Karen

Karen, I have 3 open wills in the Probate Court for Cuyahoga County. Do you know what I will need to request a copy of the open wills? And the cost? Thank you. Hi Karen: That amazes me because here in Florida the judges force wills closed if they aren't closed within a few years.
