Thanks, Robert! That is great information as I still live in the area right now. I know there was a grain mill at the corner of East 185th Street and St. Clair. Perhaps that is the grain mill that you were referring to. Nottingham Rd. is off of Lake Shore Blvd. with some of the East 170 Streets off of it as well as named streets. It lost quite a bit of it when the freeway came through. There use to be a Nottingham School here, but it went with the freeway as well. We preserve a bit of the past as my street as well as a few others are the original hand-laid red brick. Ceal
