I now have info that My great great grandparents might have lived in a "poorhouse" around 1903. they always had a east Cleveland address, would anyone know where I should begin my search?

My grandmother, Alice Gabriella Knight was born in Cleveland. Her mother died shortly after her birth so Alice was sent to an aunt to raise since dad was a mariner on the Great Lakes. She lived at 43 Tracy Street, Westside Cleveland at age seven which would be 1870. Can anyone help me find who she was living with? It would probably have been a Knight but since there were three girls who would qualify as aunts the name may be something else. Any help would be appricated. Bob Quinn nabob@jps.net
