I am glad to find out that there might be more out there at the CPL then is online. If the challenge never comes up for a researcher then they just don't know it exists. All of my relatives had obits and I've never been faces with 'knowing it's there and not finding it situation' other then like I mentioned the article on my family death. At least I know now that if I should run across a death that I just know there should be an obit for that I should check the CPL instead of just going by the online file. I have lately run into situation where someone elderly passes on and because obits can cost of $100.00 and upwards the family doesn't want to spend the money. My grandmother passed at 79 years and with so little family and friends left my mom just thought it was way to expensive to buy an obit especially with the high cost of funerals but my insistance and the promise to pay the $120.00 myself got an obit put into the P.D.
