A list of charter parishioners of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Slovak) Catholic Parish in Cleveland shows a John Hegedish at 1583 Woodland Hills Ave (E. 93rd St.). Jan Hegedus also shows on the annual contributions reports from 1909-15. The 1927 report shows a Maria Hegedus at 3766 E. 91st. St. (could be John's widow). These records would be a pretty clear indication that this Hegedus family considered themselves Slovak. -----Original Message----- From: khorne@adelphia.net To: OHCUYAHO-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sun, 3 Apr 2005 16:29:42 -0400 Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] HEGEDISH Angela, Don't know if you have any other census, other than 1920 1900 26-wd Cleveland, living at 1627 Woodland Hills HEGDISH, John, June 1869, 30, married 4 yrs, b.
