Dear list, I am new to this list and just thought that I would jump right in. I am looking for anyone with a connection, or info on any person with the JAROS surname or it's variations(JAROS, YAROS, YARROS, YAROSH). I am most interested in anyone with the JAROS surname with ties to the villiage of Maskovce, Slovakia. My great grandfather emigrated from this town and according to the Ellis Island site, there were several more people who left the same villiage. Some of these people settled in the Pittsburgh area of PA, McKean County PA and the Cleveland area. I have heard of a possible Yaros relation that moved from Bradford, McKean County, PA to the Ceveland area sometime in the middle of the 20th century, I would love to find a connection to him.
