Paul, Here is my secret. I never view the deeds on line. I click on the document link, then when that comes up and the second window for viewing the document comes up I right click on the link, use "save target as" and put them in a special folder on my desktop. I don't like the viewer they use on the website, so I view them later using my windows for imaging software I have with windows98. It will give me all pages at once. If it is not a deed for my family, I simply delete it. That way all my deeds are together in one place and easy to find. This is a note to commend the Cuyahoga County Recorder's office for the work they have done getting deeds and other records posted to their site. If you have not seen this great site and have Cuyahoga relatives, be sure to check it out. Deed records are not posted back at least as far as 1869. Try several spellings of the surname you are researching , and use the first letter and the * as a wildcard for the first name. I have found well over 100 copies of the original deeds for various members of my family on this site. > > > > > > >

It is the recommended viewer for the site and allows you to see all the pages, too. In fact, it will also rotate the image if need be (some of the deeds have the second page flipped). All you have to do is click on the little left or right arrows in the toolbar where it tells you what page you are looking at. I did like you until I noticed those arrows were there! AlternaTIFF will also magnify the image if you just click on it and then you can push the image around the screen, then click again to return to the original zoom level. Sandy
