linda i can tell you've been doing this for a long long time.i am 73 and started teaching myself 3 yrs agoa and took on the computer at the same time.know i won't live long enough to acquire your skills but really do thank you,quo wright of williamsburg,va.i have to do mine on line as don't drive but can walk over to william and mary college to read thru the census and other va. history,of which they have a marvelous collection and so does colonial williamsburg where i work.ever been to colonial williamsburg or jamestown,va.?all of america's english history started 6 miles away at jamestown .my mom's family was slave and free right in this area.it is a wonderfull place to live and talk about everyday..my dad's family was slave and free 150 miles away in washington,va. problems for us lie in finding manumission statements and wondering what slave ships we came in on because we came in and were given new names .hopefully my kids will find that after i am gone .thanks again. <BR><BR><BR>**************************************<BR> AOL now offers free email to everyone.
