I am wondering if someone can help me with 2 questions? 1. I have an uncle who was born 29 Aug. 1919 and died 07 Sept. 1919. I am wondering if there would have been a birth or death certificate for this baby? If so where do I look? 2. I have another uncle that was injured as a very young child and evidently was placed in a "home or hospital", somewhere in Ohio.. My mother remembers my grandmother filling a basket with goodies and being gone for a day or two at least once a month. Then one day she came home and told my mom that this young boy with her was her brother(my uncle Elmer). Uncle Elmer had the mental capacity of a very young teenager, maybe 13 or 14 in the time that I knew him, so evidently his head injury caused some mental problems. What I am looking for is where he may have been "kept" for the years that he wasn't home? Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated. Being in Alaska I am limited to the kindness and help of others for help and sincerely appreciate the help that I have gotten from this group. Thanks, Ruth
