    2. Robert, I absolutely agree with you (about Dr. Morse's search page) and so does this months Family Tree Magazine! Had a HUGE article on it and was listed as one of the best for ship manifest searches....He also has a "like" form for Castle Garden as well. This would definitely be my FIRST stop for ship manifests! If you're interested, check out the interview between Stephen P. Morse and Family Tree Magazine at: _www.familytreemagazine.com/feb07/morse.asp_ (http://www.familytreemagazine.com/feb07/morse.asp) Happy Hunting! 3. I did the search on www.google.com for the Stephen Morse Web site that I suggested yesterday (I couldn't remember the URL and was short of time). It is: http://www.stevemorse.org and is easier to get to than going into one of his sub-links and then working backward to his Home Page. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: March 01, 2007 4:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] Ancestry.com Robert, I absolutely agree with you (about Dr. Morse's search page) and so does this months Family Tree Magazine! 1. [OHCUYAHO] Ohio Death Certificates
    2. Gordon Small
    3. I recently received two separate packets containing death certificates. Two of the death certificates are identical except that they are in different handwriting and one has the "File Number" hand written in the upper right corner. Does anyone know why there would be two? See them at: http://www.glsmall.com/genealogy/schmalz/death_deex_angeline.htm Thanks, Gordon

    1. [OHCUYAHO] Funeral Home
    2. Gordon Small
    3. According to his death certificate there is a Lawrence Schmalz (my brother) in St. Adelbert's Cemetery. There is a record of his death at St. Adelbert's church but no info on where his grave is located. The funeral home was Kuhn & Sons at 3371 55th. St. Does anyone know if the funeral home records would shed any light on his location in the cemetery? Who would now have those records? I will visit Cleveland in a couple months and would like to visit his grave if possible. There is a great possibility that there was no tombstone so the most I could hope for is a grave site location. He was 2 weeks old when he died in 1939. Gordon
