Please come and join the join the Friends of Monroe Street Cemetery on Saturday, October 18th from 4pm-6pm, as they present "Meet the Neighbors," a dramatic representation of the Cemetery's most influential residents. The tour will take place at Monroe Street Cemetery, 3207 Monroe Street, Cleveland, Ohio and will feature figures that settled Ohio City and shaped the history of the City of Cleveland. Highlighted persons will include brewer Jacob Baehr; Henry Whitman, who helped incite the 1936 "Battle of the Bridge" with the City of Cleveland; and Ohio City and Cleveland Mayor Irvine Masters, to be played by Judge Raymond Pianka. Tickets are $10, proceeds of which will help the Monroe Street Cemetery Foundation to further the renovation of the Monroe Street Cemetery Gate House.
