thanks Cindy for all your interest and information. Yes, I know where JOHN CLEMENTS and his children were in 1870, 1880 and am aware of his death in 1885 at Dodge Nebraska and his wife's death in 1869 at Dodge also. They [father John and son Edward] went no further than Nebraska, except for his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Clements who married George Crane 1875 and they moved to Wisconsin then ND then Canada then back to Montana.!! It is interesting what you say about the Mormon movements and I had not thought of that. It's just that I am unable to find John and Mary and Elizabeth and Edward in 1860 and that confuses me. Maybe they were betwixt and between and didnt get enumerated? thanks again, liz On Dec 4, 2008, at 12:39 PM, Cynthia Mac Suibhne wrote: > Hi Liz, > Do you know where they were at in 1880? Have you tried searching using only first names and birth info?? I searched the 1870 census (Cuyahoga County) for several years for a young lady and finally found her living with her sister but she was listed as having the same last name as her married sister which is why I had so much trouble finding her.? Still haven't found the parents even though I firmly believe they were in Cuyahoga County.? Good luck! -----Original Message----- From: harvieandliz <hebarker@shaw.ca> To: barkupthetree@yahoo.com; ohcuyaho@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, 4 Dec 2008 9:02 pm Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] any other source of 1860 census for Cuyahoga area? thanks Cindy for all your interest and information.
