The Lorain County Chapter of OGS is pleased to host the Ohio Genealogical Society's Chapter Management Seminar, on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Holiday Inn, SR 57 near Midway Mall, Elyria, OH. from 9:00 am - 3:30pm. The Chapter Management Seminar offers sessions for Chapter officers and those interested in becoming an officer. Topics include attracting new members, locating and developing quality programs, compiling and reviewing lineage applications, how and what to publish, and keeping ownership of Chapter possessions. The Chapter Management Seminar is free to OGS and OGS Chapter members. There is a $25 fee for nonmembers.
