I've conducted a lot of research here in Cleveland, and the Cleveland Catholic Diocese has been a wonderful source for much information, but where do I go to find out about my Protestant relatives? My g-g-grandmother and her siblings were placed in the Jones' Home in 1891. The Jones Home only took Protestant children, so I'm trying to determine what Protestant churches were around the area in 1891 (and before -- do Protestants practice baptism?) I'm hoping to find more information on the childrens' parents' deaths, and hoping church records might help. The parents (Mark SIMPSON and Mary JARVIS) lived on Hanover Street in February 1891 and then on Washington Street in April 1891 (the date of the mother's death). (I think this is the west bank of the Flats). Any ideas? Thanks, Jean from Olmsted Falls
