    3. Thank you; I came up with no hits. Again; it's so very frustrating. With the second link, I tried a range of 5 years on either side and took off the exact spelling and still came up with nothing. I know all children were christened in the Russian Orthodox church so feel certain that there was a marriage, just can not find any proof of the exact date and the location. -----Original Message----- From: ohcuyaho-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ohcuyaho-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Eliz Hanebury Sent: Sunday, October 05, 2008 3:38 PM To: ohcuyaho@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] Marriage Records: Fill/Horbal 1909 There certainly is for Cuyahoga Co, Court View 2000 Historical Marriages http://probate.cuyahogacounty.us/ml/ You also might find a good many Ohio marriages recorded at IGI at familysearch.org *http://www.ohgen.net/Ohio_Vital_Record_Batch_Numbers_By_County.html *If* you want to try by county the above will get you to the Ohio Batch numbers * http://ohgen.net/usa/states/ohio/vital-record-batch-numbers-by-county/index. html Eliz On Sun, Oct 5, 2008 at 3:25 PM, Ellyn <ellynf@mindspring.com> wrote: > Is there a place on line to search for marriage records in Ohio? 3. Are you sure there wasn't a surname change somewhere along the way? I tried searching for passenger lists for clues about them at http://findmypast.com as they would most likely have been on ships that stopped over in England, and I had poor luck there. The only thing that stood out for me that was someone who was a Fill born about 1851 who went to Canada in 1893 via Liverpool: FILL Anders 1851 M 1893 Liverpool Canada Quebec Also, I don't recall you saying (I may have missed it) when you think they got married or what censuses you have on them and where. That info would help us. The 1910 and 1930 censuses have information about the age or year of marriage that would help. 3. Andro (Andrew) Fill came to US via Trieste in January 1906 on Francesca when he was 19. Name on manifest is Andreas Ful (with an accent over the 'u') or Fyl, or Fyil. Handwriting is very difficult to read. 1930 census shows age at first marriage as 23 which tracks with the DOB I have for him of 10 Dec 1886. Mary's DOB is different on almost every document; 1930 date of first marriage is, of course, written over and could be anything from 16 - 20. 1910 census has "Andy" Fill in Cleveland Township living in the Erie Railway Construction Camp (taken April 27th) which does not jive with my marriage date of 1909. 1920 he is Andrew Fill with 4 kids. -----Original Message----- From: ohcuyaho-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ohcuyaho-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of the cohens Sent: Sunday, October 05, 2008 5:28 PM To: ohcuyaho@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [OHCUYAHO] Marriage Records: Fill/Horbal 1909 Are you sure there wasn't a surname change somewhere along the way?
